Witness Guidelines & Coordination

Many estate planning documents (especially a Last Will and Testament) require disinterested witnesses (people who are not related to you and not named in the document(s) to sign alongside the notary.

• Bring Your Own (Recommended): You can have neighbors, friends, or coworkers act as your witnesses at the time of the appointment for no extra charge. They must have valid government-issued IDs.

• We Provide Witnesses: If you cannot find witnesses, we can recruit and bring up to two qualified, disinterested witnesses to your appointment.

  • Fee per witness: +$25 (To compensate them for their time and travel.)
